To start off the fun, the Walkerhill Library, located on the second floor of the Grand Walkerhill Seoul, will hold the “Beauty & the Cinema” promotion, which will present drinks and snacks that go perfectly with reading. Walkerhill Library is a unique space where you can read books and heal in a comfortable atmosphere, with more than 3,000 books that cover such areas as  domestic and foreign novels, essays, history, science, art, self-development, children’s education, and hobbies.

The “Beauty and the Cinema” promotion consists of two beverage options: Princess Beauty and Cine-Macchiato. Princess Beauty is a floral hibiscus tea with a touch of citrus, a drink that Cleopatra, the beauty of her era, enjoyed to maintain her beauty. Cine-Macchiato is a sweetened Dutch coffee served along with candied popcorn. The Beauty & the Cinema promotion includes access to the Library and either a hot/cold Princess Beauty at KRW 15,000 or a hot/cold Cine-Macchiato for 17,000. Hotel guests will receive a 10% discount, but hurry because this promotion is only available until December 1st.

Guests can also enjoy the Douglas House’s Library, which was created with a “Relaxing Book Cottage” theme in mind.  Renowned for her combined bookshop and cultural space, Choi In-ah Bookstore, CEO Choi In-ah, is responsible for the book curation and the interior design of the Library. In addition, the inspiring background music playlist was organized by Ryoko Oikawa, a music expert from Tokyo’s Daikanyama Tsutaya T-Site. Sit back and enjoy a leisurely book discussion at the Douglas Culture Salon, which runs from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on the last Sunday of every month. Cultural classes in various fields will be held until the end of the year that will cover topics such as self-improvement, northern European humanities, and calligraphy. Guests staying at the Walkerhill can apply to join, but attendance is limited so guests will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis.

The “Tales of Fall” and “Colorful Autumn” stay packages at Douglas House are also available now until November 30th. As an accommodation exclusively for adults, the Douglas House is a lifestyle hotel where people can take some time for themselves and completely relax. The hotel was designed to blend perfectly with the natural surroundings of Mount Acha, and the entire building is a “no-kids zone” where children under 13 cannot enter, helping to ensure a serene escape from the chaos of daily life.

The “Tales of Fall” package includes Douglas Hour and light breakfast in the Douglas Lounge with your one-night stay in a Douglas Deluxe Room. In addition, guests receive either a take-out combination pizza from Pizza Hill or a Fried Chicken Set with sausages and assorted pickles. The “Colorful Autumn” package provides a one-night stay in the Traditional Suite and also includes Douglas Hour and light breakfast in the Douglas Lounge. Guests on this package will also receive a signature diffuser inspired by the natural scenery of Mount Acha and a Walkerhill Welcome Wine. The standard price for two adults starts from KRW 230,000 for the “Tales of Fall” package and KRW 273,000 for the “Colorful Autumn” package.
