Situated in a beautiful forest overlooking the Han River, you will experience true relaxation at Douglas House.

Included with your “Spring Sunlight” package, a Douglas Deluxe Room offers a spacious room with a warm, comfortable interior. The balcony with wooden flooring acts as a bridge from your cozy room to the beauty of the outdoors that awaits you. The bathroom provides a simple yet refined interior and is stocked with amenities from the Greenwich, NY based cosmetics brand C.O. Bigelow, which is one of the most historic cosmetics brands in the United States. In addition, guests receive complimentary access to all items in the minibar and a helpful goodie bag to make sure that you have what you need to enjoy your vacation.
TIPChildren and companion animals are not permitted in the Douglas House, thereby ensuring a comfortable rest for all guests.
Light Breakfast & Douglas Hour: Treasured Times at Douglas Lounge

We make sure our guests start off the day with a healthy “Light Breakfast” in the Douglas Lounge and we hope that guests will return in the evening for “Douglas Hour,” when they can enjoy a romantic evening of cocktails and snacks. All included with the “Spring Sunlight @ Douglass House” package, the Light Breakfast runs from 7 to 10 am and provides healthy breakfast including eggs and toast, while the Douglas Hour runs from 7 to 9 pm and delivers an elegant evening of drinks you can prepare yourself, including beer and wine.

Choose from grilled seafood skewers and green salad delivered by room service with the “Spring Sunlight @ Douglas House” package on the Sunlight I package or take a walk and pick up a signature Pizza Hill Combination Pizza by takeout with the Sunlight II package. Either way you’ll enjoy talking with your loved ones while dining on gourmet options from Walkerhill Hotel.

24A Day at Douglas House: 24 Hours is Not Enough
Douglas House Multiroom
There’s plenty to do at the Douglas House, including great options in our “Multiroom” where you’ll find a state-of-the-art audio system, mini-billiards table, and even a meeting table. There’s also our open Kitchen with an induction oven, cooking utensils and even ingredients guests can use to prepare their own meals, and the Library, which is filled with some 820 books curated by Choi In-ah, CEO of “Choi In-a Bookstore.” That’s all in addition to your lovely Douglas Deluxe Room and access to the Light Breakfast and Douglas Hour. Then there are the cooking classes “Douglas Cook & Mix Sessions,” which are held every Wednesday and Saturday in the Kitchen with one of our Walkerhill Chefs. Cultural salons are also held on the last Sunday of each month with a wide variety of themes. Check the schedule and apply in advance to enjoy a group-centered cultural experience. Then again, you could also step out of Douglas House and into the Douglas Garden to awaken your natural senses. Take a stroll through the Five Senses Garden, The Contemplative Garden and Douglas Forest Trails to enjoy different landscapes as only Douglas House can offer.
